About…

…me

I am working as a scientist at the Institute of Marine Research, in Bergen, Norway.  Feel free to contact me at <ketil at malde dot org>.

…haskell

Haskell is the type-inferring, non-strict, referentially transparent, functional programming language.

What it boils down to, is that it allows you to write succinct programs quickly, that the compiler will have a good chance of catching most of your bugs, that your code will be readable and reusable, and that you with a bit of practice, can turn any lunchroom discussion into a confused tangle of esoteric terms. What’s not to like about that?

…biohaskell

This is my attempt at organizing code I’ve written over the last few years, some for the fun of it, most for some specific project. Parts of the code is stable, parts of it less so, but most of it is in regular use, and has been oiled and polished once in a while.
